With over 30 years spent in the Australian mining industry, first as an Operator and eventually becoming a Training Professional, I combine practical mining experience with strong technical communication skills to deliver accurate, site-ready documentation and training solutions.
I spent 12 years working in various mines in roles including truck operator, loader operator, driller, charge hand, and serviceman. This firsthand experience allows me to quickly understand many of the processes being explained and readily identify the key areas that need to be highlighted when training personnel.
Over the past 18 years, I’ve specialised in Safety and Training, undertaking Trainer Assessor, Training Advisor, and finally, Document Writing roles. I have spent the past 5 years developing site-compliant documentation, facilitating risk assessments, and creating effective training materials.
My qualifications include:
S1 S2 S3 Mining supervisor
TAE40122 Cert IV in training assessment
BSB41407A Cert IV in Occ Health and Safety

Having recognised that the learning styles of trainees attending work sites nowadays has shifted more towards kinesthetic and visual, I have spent the past 2 years developing videography, photography, video editing, and E-learning skills, with a view to providing better outcomes for both trainees and trainer assessors.
If you are looking for someone who can come to your site and attend the workplace, to observe, record, and document your specific processes, be that underground, in the pit, or in the plant, I can do this, working safely, and with minimum supervision.
This approach ensures that the training materials I deliver are not only technically sound but also site-specific, readily understood by the workforce, and legally compliant.
